I've seen a lot of beaches but to tell you the truth never seen such beautiful white sand no seaweed good crowd of people and amazing waves. Flipping awesome!
Beautiful beach with plenty of parking. Although the weather was too chilly that morning to get in the water, it was an amazing green blue color. The beach was soft sand and was not crowded at all.
Will we be back? Maybe. If we are in the area again.

Awesome beach. Public bathrooms are close by so very convenient. There were lots of people so come earlier to get a good spot.
It's a beautiful stretch of beach like the rest of the Emerald Coast. However, I did notice on this last visit that the pavilions are no longer lit in the evening. I am pleased to see this because before they were lit with bright white bulbs which are not safe for the turtles, but it would be nice if they added some of those turtle safe lights for safety for visitors too. It gets quite dark quickly after sunset, and if you have children or elderly people with you, it can be dangerous for them.
This is a great spot. Easy & plentiful parking (at least in off season). Picnic shelters all up & down the boardwalk. Restrooms & changing stalls at "Public Bath House" just west of restaurant. Small playground in beach just begins restaurant also.
We were not allowed to wade in the waters in the Henderson State park due to water currents. So, we visited this place on the Destin beach scenic drive. The beach was very clean and the sugary white sands are typical of the Emerald coast. The water was clear in few areas. Few areas had some sea weeds floating. The sea was calm as well. We rented the umbrellas and chair for a small amount
Great relaxing place. Has life guard and picnic areas. Restroom area has changing rooms and restrooms. Has two outside showers. Water pretty clear. Lots of algae, smells but you get use to it 😂 …
